Benefit Fund
Our Benefit Fund was set up to provide financial help to the families of soldiers who have lost their lives. Many of these families do not receive full benefits from the military. However, we have not been able to raise any money of significance, but have sent what we have received to many families around the country including a copy of the CD, Twinkle,Twinkle Freedom Star. All of the money to produce the CD was provided by our immediate family and friends. We thank all of you for our support. We are now basing our giving on sending the troops the CD’s. We have also given them away free to local soldiers at a live remote for 88.1 KLOVE, which they said they would do again for us. We suggest you support the groups that are making enough to help the troops. Donations can still be made through the Bank of America account set up and we will use the funds to make copies of the Cds to send the troops. We thank all of you who have supported us from the beginning and God Bless You.
There are many groups that support the families of fallen and wounded soldiers that have been formed and sponsored by known celebrities since 2004 when we started our benefit fund. They have made a difference in the lives of these families. Because of their celebrity, they were able to raise a lot of money and we salute them for the good job they are doing and they are “Soldier’s Angels” and “Wounded Warrior Project.”
You can visit www.americasupportsyou.gov and find groups to support if you like. We were just not able to get the support we needed so are giving away the CD’s we have free to the troops through other groups like “Operation Iraqi Children.”
Our prayers have been answered because families are being helped. We were one of the first sites to open, and we feel we have accomplished our goal. We will keep our web site open for you to visit and hear the song. We will also continue to do what we can to send free CD’s to the troops. We appreciate the help of the one radio station who played our song and the people in Nashville.
