Summer 2008

The song "Twinkle, Twinkle Freedom Star" was produced solely for the purpose of providing an uplifting song to soldiers and their families and for the purpose of raising funds for the families of fallen soldiers and to spread the message of freedom throughout the world. Children of family members who have either served or are actively serving in Afghanistan or Iraq sing this touching song of freedom.

There have been many groups formed since we started our web site that are doing a wonderful job in supporting the troops and we commend them. Soldier's Angels and Wounded Warriors, to name a few. We adopted a couple of soldiers. Since we never received much money for our work, we have only been able to donate to 20 or more soldier's 100 each family because of a lack of funds. But that is okay. Children everywhere are starting to sing the song - we are so thrilled that the children have responded to this song, we plan to follow it with a children's book to be published in 2008-9. We have not found a publisher yet, but keep your fingers crossed.

On another note, I personally did take the song to Nashville, TN to promote it to producers. It was well received in late august of 2006. "Twinkle, Twinkle Freedom Star" has since been played on 88.1 the voice in Tucson. It will be given away as a prize when 88.1 goes remote in Tucson.

I sustained a bad injury to my left leg and right shoulder at the beginning of 2008 and was in the hospital for 4 weeks recovering and learning to walk again and to use my right arm, so I know how it must feel to the wounded soldiers coming home, getting adjusted back into their lives. I have not been able to send Cds to the troops, but I will start that back up soon. Since I make the CDs here, it has not easy for me to do.

"Operation Iraqi Children", started by Gary Sinise is a group that sends school supplies to Iraqi children to use for their education has said they will continue to send the Cds to the troops. They are including CDs in their shipments each month, for the troops and for the Iraqi children to hear our song of peace. Our last shipment went out in February 2007. I just heard from my grandson that a friend of his in another town had sun the song at church. Our purpose was not to become a #1 hit, but to reach out to all the troops serving overseas to make their days a little brighter and to spread the message of freedom for all. If you have a soldier, marine, Air Force or Navy relative in this region, we can send CDs directly to them if you want to send us their address.

The current war in the Middle East is a battle that has been raging for many years. We should not let terrorist armies control our lives and the lives of our children. All people of the world deserve to live without fear and abuse by tyrannical dictatorships. Freedom and Liberty allow each individual to give his/her best to a world. We hope an agreement can be made to make this possible and that the war will soon be in the past.

Never stop believing that what our soldiers are fighting for is worth fighting for, and be proud to be an American. Thank you again for those of you who have supported us in this effort and if you have any questions, do not hesitate to email me personally at my address listed below. Our post office box has been closed. If you want to email me personally, you can reach me at yesindidi@aol.com.
